Hello, Hola, Bom Dia, Guten Tag, Shalom!
Welcome to Vudu Magic Arabians established in 1999.
As
Life Members of the Pyramid Society we want to assure you we are dedicated
breeders of Straight Egyptian and Egyptian Related Arabians. Our goal is to
produce quality foals that have versatility from the show ring to your back
yard friend. The best part of this business is that we are having fun
and meeting amazing people world wide.
We
individually handle every foal from birth. We start them with halter
acceptance and being lead around the pasture. They are sensitized to farrier
experiences and practice loading in and out of a horse trailer. Our foals
begin halter classes as yearlings and we constantly prepare them for
performance careers through exposure to various "horsy" experiences from the
ground first. Our first foals have shown well at halter and we have started
several under saddle for performance and/or riding careers.
Each
foal’s pedigree is selected with care. Our foundation mare, Sahara Cypryss
(aka: Sara) (Baraka Zouheir x Ruala Seretta) has blessed us with foals that
have wonderful dispositions, confirmation, straight legs, awesome shoulders,
along with strong hips and beautiful heads and necks. No club feet on this
farm. Sahara’s Cypryss is liver chestnut and has produced 4 fillies and 3
colts as of 2008.
Our
first foal with Sara was a gorgeous bay Straight Egyptian colt, VMA Sihr
Lancelot sired by Azia Al Dunn, he was sold to Ellsworth, Wisconsin. Sara bore
a full sister to Lancelot the year before we purchased her, we are unsure of
her location. Our second foal by Sara is VMA Barr Risha, her sire is Halim El
Imen. Barr Risha is an explosive Straight Egyptian Liver-Chestnut mare with
loads of action. She is a dream to ride! Sara’s third foal is a gray
Straight Egyptian filly, VMA Barr Farasha, sired by Gabriel MCA. She is a
picture of elegance and grace, with type, type, type and has placed top 3 and
top 6 at the Egyptian Event in Liberty! Her fourth foal is a gray full sister
to Farasha; named VMA Sahara’s Isis. She is even more beautiful than her
sister, and I didn’t think that was possible. Isis was exported to Ontario
Canada in 2006.
Sara foaled April
2008 producing a black colt by HU Sheikh Imaan. Look for him on our Colts
page.
VMA Barr Risha, one of
Sahara Cypryss’s daughters, had her first foal by the stallion Isador Ibn
Akkhir April 2008. This colt is an extreme foal of unparalleled beauty and
grace. OMG is all I can say. We are awestruck with our second generation
get, looks like selective breeding is working its magic on this one.
We are
so excited with our foals. Our dream to hopefully produce one good filly from
our foundation mare turned into a reality of three great fillies and ....
Several
outstanding colts, including VMA AlSaharsBakirAmir
(translated: The Desert’s Early Prince).
Sara's
2006 addition to her entourage of wonder foals. Bakir is a
Liver-Chestnut colt sired
by the late TA Prince Sharif (by Thee Desperado). I
know there is no perfect horse, but this young colt has stolen our breath
away. He will be something to watch for as he matures! Wow, wow and more Wow!
